I don’t know what it is about December… maybe it’s the new year that’s coming but I always seem to review everything that I was supposed to do, and it brings me back here. Everything is changing in the next month, so this time I’m taking stock because I need to, not just to waste time. 2011 will be interesting.

Year of inaction

Doesn’t bode well for the future I suppose to have spent a year without any output, but things have changed. A year away from thinking and creating has left me shaken and unsure of myself. I thought I wanted out but I need to get back in there; it seems that not asking questions leaves you wanting answers all the same, but without the peace of mind of knowing you raised the issue.

2010 is going to be creation-ridden!

In time, this blog will become the portfolio of various works of unassuming art. It will feature various media, including music of various genres, images (photographic and otherwise) and written word. The term ‘Modest Greatness’ refers to my belief that anything done with genuine artistic intent is at least somewhere on a scale towards greatness (no matter how ill received or conceived) and the fact that I in no way can claim to be good at anything, so I don’t…

Among my main interests are computer-generated art (fractals, 3D rendering, and good old 2D images), macro and landscape photography, and music of all kinds.
